I actually really liked Luke's NJO philosophy, it's IMO better reflective of the light side than the philosophy of the old Jedi Order.
Namely volunteer enlistment over indoctrination from near birth/kidnapping babies.
Less centralized power.
More personalization and individuality.
Embracing love.
Not being as arrogant.
etc.

Maybe, there was some stupid thing in the new Jedi order, but the Idea of the Jedi order existing was pretty damn good. also it is a shame that the order was populated by Skywalker and solo family member only.
Admit that the Galaxy gun, is an amazing idea, especialy the missiles.... It put imperium double stage cyclonic torpedo into shame.
The Idea of a gun hidding in teh shadow cappble of striking anywhere....
Ho gosh in a star wars V.S warhammer 40 000 context the ultrasmurf will just pee in their pant at the lone Idea of such a machien existing.
