Loosing his tail wouldnt stop him from becoming a super saiyan 4, you only need a tail to become a great ape then a golden great ape, then you can become a super saiyan 4, after that you can always become one. The only reason Vegeta couldnt become one because he had no means of becoming a great ape, and at the end of the fight with omega he couldnt become a super saiyan 4 again because his power level was too depleted, so ripping goku's tail off wouldn't do much at all, unless he wanted to become a great ape, which would be stupid becaue a super saiyan 4 is like a controlled version of great ape.
We don't realy no if a destructo disc would shatter against cell because that only happend in the Anime so it was filler, but it wouldnt matter anyway cause krillin still couldn't hit him.
It's pointless trying to say who is faster between them, because there is no evidence on how fast Goku actualy is, you can only assume he is as fast as the speed of light, or faster but it has never been stated how fast he is in those terms.
And besides this fight can never be determained because there is to little info on Goku's raw strength and speed to match him against Superman, you can only realy match him against other DBZ characters because its obviouse who is stronger than who.
Gogeta could beat superman. Dont they get stronger every time they are beaten. Supes might win once or twice. He wouldnt kill them so one day they will just be stronger then him an win
Goku is faster than superman, he did fly to a planet 70 lightyears away in a sec, and goku has the ability to use ki-blasts. Goku wins. How is superman going to recover from a Ki-Blast, the only person whocan beat goku is hulk

1. Only a super-powered one would do any harm to Superman.
