No, as said it can be used on any planet.
So like I said you believe he New Gods only developed most of their technology recently? lulz
Yeah because the New Gods have been around for billions of years, and it's comical if you think they didn't have really any tech around this time. New Gods first appeared 4,300,000,000 years ago.
Some of their best tech was developed way before this time. They had planet busting tech, and even made Metron's chair, boom tubes, etc.
So you don't like it, that means it's bullshit? Interesting. The avatar card has been around from the 90's. This is not a new concept. Ummm...no, this isn't a new concept and that's the way story telling goes. You can't pick and choose what you wish to believe if it established.
ORLY? *remembers the fight with the Darkstars, Kendotha Kr’Nek and when Mantis stole Hal Jordan's energy, etc.*

like i said some of the tech would be standard others would not be due to it appearing or being created later down the road from comic appearance.
DS didnt always have the options he has now back then.
its the same for modern heroes vs their classic appearances.
i am fully aware of apokolypse tech, what i am saying use the tech that appeared before and up to the point of said story basically 60's and 90's when that story was written.
your choices would be limited for "that" particular story arc.
It really wasn't that long ago, the Green Lantern that Darkseid killed before Raker it's body is still on Apokolips and is still fairly in tact nailed to the wall.
and that's not what I meant, I meant is as a few as in less then a thousand. We even know from the 80-page giant it was for a fact less then 1000 years ago.
Makes you wonder how long the Manhunters were around and what the Guardians did with their time beforehand, aside from fighting the Reach and imprisoning magic into the Starheart.

Well we only saw DS use his Parademons...and the Parademons are like the fodder infantry.
So while clearly the GLC wouldn't have been beaten by Parademons without the weakness exploitation I don't think it's too crazy to imagine that a wet around the ears GLC with next to no experience could get beaten by the might of Apokolips.
The idea that Apokolips only became a powerhouse in the last few centuries is ridiculous considering they'd been practically stalemating New Genesis for a few thousand years beforehand, and we all know the kind of tech New Genesis possesses.
