Still, all the characters I listed have those qualities. I don't think Superman is anymore perfect personality wise than Thor. Thor's a bit more blood lusted than Superman -like Rogers, he will do what needs to be done- but his a warrior at heart.

Toss in Wonder Woman to that list. Of course you'd have to ignore the fact that she's a woman and so by definition, inferior to a man.

not sure how you can see any of superman in thor, especially if you consider the clark kent persona.

thor was forced to be pussified by odin, and hanging out with mortals is slowly making him soft, but he's still very much the viking he was born

I don't think Thor's like Superman personality wise, but I do think he has all of these qualities: Selfless, intelligent, patient, sensitive, rational, observant, logical, decisive, driven, wise.

Thor unlike Superman isn't a pansy however. Or a pussy. He knows when shit needs to get done.
