Star Wars easily defend the Earth. The old repulic had around 1000-5000 ships without counting support ships in it's armada and that wasn't even the full size of the Old Republics fleet. The Aliens won't even get through.

It has been established that the Old Republic wins due to the Jedi being overkill.

Let's start anew: Same conditions, except no Jedi involved. I know, I know, 4 pages in and now I decide this? laughing

Are the Republic Forces still around? Because they won't need the Jedi to defeat the alien forces.

Yes, all Republic forces are involved.

With no Jedi around, I am siding with the Yautja.

We've only seen 20ish or so Yautja in the films. So how many are on their planet that are Predator/Warrior types? I can't recall this being mentioned in any of the films.

That's the problem, impossible to determine how many Yautja there are on their homeworld, and how many of those are Hunters.

So why would you side with them when there could only be a 142?

Well, IF the Yautja have a sizable army, they stand a chance. One Yautja>>>>Dozens of Clones.

Any cities the Yautja are shacked up in and killing Clones would quickly be targeted and artilleried to rubble. The Clones are highly trained in the tactics of war(noted in Ep2) and wouldn't just keep sending in units ad infinitum to get sliced by cloaked opponents.

Plus I highly doubt the Alien attackers will even make it go the ground. The republic fleet will blow everything out of the sky, and when the Aliens from Independance Day have wiped out, that's it. The republic fleet can then begin bombard whatever that somehow managed to land.

Not if the Yautja go on the offense and fight in a non PIS fashion. One Yautja in the middle of a cluster of Clones, he rapes them all. And when the Yautja is shot down, he activates his wrist nuke and BOOM, hundreds of dead Clones, not to mention the dozens he slaughtered before going down.

If the Yautja can build a bomb that powerful in a wrist sized device, their tech>>>>Star Wars tech.

In CQC a single Yautja would get shot to shit after he kills a few clones at most. They're clones, not retards. They'd see the the light warping figure and relalize a cloacked enemy is there killing a Clone, then the info would spread throughout the army.

That assumes said Yautja is still alive enough to active his wrist bomb. If they're shot down dead, no bomb.

So you're saying that the Clone are better than Dutch's crew? Because they couldn't hit a lone Yautja while all firing full auto. Plus they had a death machine and a war machine.

A few laser bolts aren't taking down a Yautja, one tanked half a dozen shotgun blasts and a some auto fire.

Dutch's crew was what, 6-7 men? Clones would be FAR numerous.

That's just it, wouldn't be "a few".

And much more used to dealing with technology and recognize it. Cloaking generators isn't uncommon in the star wars universe.

What does the aliens have fleetwise that makes it possible for them to take on 5000+ capital ships (not counting support vessels and fighters)

Add up all the fleets of the aliens in OP. There is your answer.

So Star Wars gets there shields and no one else does..

What kinda crap is that.
