Context. Thanos had a ship thrown on him. No damage.
Ironman standing in a stationary position damages him from a left hook. Is it safe to assume that Tony hits with greater force than a starship crashing into someone?
How many times stronger than Ironman is superman? I mean, we hear thanos say "all that for a drop of blood" but if we examine the scene, Tony hit thanos in the face precisely ONCE, and drew blood. Tonys failing was a simple durability issue. But then again, Tony has an entire cinematic history of his suit being shredded.
Superman, sans Kryptonite has never bled. His skin has never been pierced.
You're about to say "but he was unconscious from an oil rig" and completely ignore an awakening of power he had later on, as evidenced by him learning to fly. Immediately after learning to fly, he goes head first into a mountain and out the otherside with no damage taken. A feat greater than your favourite oil rig.
He proceeds to take tremendous physical blows from beings demonstrating on par physicals. All that, and not a drop of blood...
Do you suppose that same blow from Tony would have bled supermans cheek?
I think you'd be kidding yourself if you said yes. Do you think Wonder Woman could sever a limb from thanos with a clean blow of the sword? I mean if Ironman drew blood and WW is so strong she's a threat to Superman..
The directors stated it was every hit on top of that prior to on top of direct shot that all led to him to bleed. No, it is not safe to assume that. To try to make sense of fiction as if it is real is an exercise in futility.
Iron man is strong enough to hurt far stronger characters like Thor, Hulk as well. Nothing is different here. You want to focus on strength alone when WW level strength can rock and withstand two headbutts without any significant damage done to anyone. WW I clearly physically weaker but nothing really happens to her either.
Nuke defeated him. He was clearly almost dead sans sun healing. He learned newer powers his durability never increased. How can one improve their durability?
You want to ignore everything save your he is too strong nothing ever hurt him save for insert exceptions why you believe we should all ignore them due to personal bias.
So? Is this comparable to we never see him beheaded thus he cannot be beheaded. He never bled via the oil rig but he was defeated. He was never bleeding by the knian ship laser that momentarily stunned him as well. We see him clearly affected by weaker foes such as WW who cut off his superior Doomsday limb. So we know he can be affected by weaker characters in the same tier.
I think Superman would have been kod far before all those combined blows caused a drop of blood tbh. Oil rig. Knian laser.
Superman died due to impaling whereas Thanos survived being impaled while the ig blast hit him during as well that killed Iron man and permanently damaged a healthy hulk. Nukes almost kill him whereas Thanos survives universal power surges that affect all of reality while he was impaled.
You tried, you failed, poor Superman.

Absurd. You admitted you would not compromise on the stips. No one can debate when no guidelines can be established between the two posters. You can watch me rep Thanos once more while you think about how poorly you acted. You really let Superman gaybois down.
No, he did not. Her power can destroy an infinity stone yet he resisted her all out. An oil rig defeated Superman. If you cannot beat an inanimate object you are in trouble Kally.
Doomsday had a limb cut off by WW sword. Yes, but common sense and logic dictate these conclusions. I get it you are upset Thanos win but get mad at Snyder. He made the oil rig defeat farm boy not me.
