I thought Orlando did the best job he could. He didn't bring a lot to Will Turner, but nor did Keira bring much to Elizabeth Swann. It was really Depp and Rush who brought life to the movie. If not for them the movie would have bombed horribly.

I'm am certain in the new movie, their characters will have more depth and will be played with more charisma.

I can't wait to see how they do in the sequel. IN the original, Orlando didn't do too bad a job playing a really hot blacksmith with a giant stick shoved up his ass.
