The Heroes Reborn Armor..

During the Onslaught event, Tony Stark was one of the heroes who sacrificed himself to defeat the menace, and consequently was shunted into a newly-created pocket universe by Franklin Richards. In this Universe, Tony had a different history, and modeled a different suit of Armor.

This armor was composed of Promethium, making it nigh-indestructible [even to the likes of the Hulk]:

======

Had underwater capabilities, and a tractor beam:

Isn't this the same Hulk who clobbered Thor the issue before? Wow...

But in the spider sense iron man fight there, Spidey looks normal. I saw other pictures of civil war where spidey has his "the other: evolve or die" powers.

Even the force-field on Tony's older armor was able to block the 'matter to matter' transmutational attacks from Chemistro:

From where? I have pretty much everything Iron Man, and for the life of me I cant remember where this was.

"Iron Man" v.1 #252.

The HoM Armor..

During the 'HoM' fiasco, Tony sported an entirely new suit of armor:

======

This model was able to emit specific wavelengths which could momentarily blind multiple enemies at once:

======

Had a built in safeguard against Magneto's attacks:

======

Had sufficient power to rip through a few Sentinels:

Tony [in the Silver Centurion Armor] vs. Mandarin:

As you can see, the Silver Centurion armor is more powerful than some may have thought.

Tony built an "atomic force microscope" into his standard armor. This allows him to view objects of his choosing, down to the nano scale:

======

Tony [in the SC Armor], links with numerous bombs from a remote location, and makes them travel up to the jet stream. This eliminates the threat they posed:

The Hydro Armor (Mk II)..

In one instance, Wolverine borrowed Tony's Hydro armor so he could pursue Namor, who was undersea in New Pangea. Like the original, this armor allows it's wearer to journey to vast underwater depths, with no ill effect:

======

It also gave Wolverine sufficient strength to own both Janus and Namor:

Tony finds a way to destroy numerous Ultrons' [many of which were composed of secondary adamantium]:

Not just view, he could also finely manipulate them

I recently received a PM asking if Iron Man has ever been seen in any other 'big suits', canon or otherwise. So...

'Big suits' (pt. 1)..

----

The Earth X Armor..

In the 'Earth X' reality, an aged Tony was forced into action by the arrival of the Celestials. Tony revealed that his entire factory was a final, titanic armor:

======

Tony managed to delay the Host of immense aliens for a short while, but was finally destroyed. His sacrifice was not in vain, however, as he bought enough time for Galactus to arrive on Earth:

Note that this armor's blasts were actually composed of 'regular sized' Iron Man-suits [second scan].

'Big suits' (pt. 2)..

----

The Overload Armor..

In another alternate reality, Magneto was defeated by Iron Man in a towering armor blistering with devastating weaponry (including a magnetic capacitor). This armor was also composed completely out of polymers, rendering the bulk of Magneto's direct attacks, all but useless:

Note that this armor was able to physically shatter Magneto's FF.

'Big suits' (pt. 3)..

----

The Mangaverse Armor(s)..

In this universe, Tony expands his 'empire', into an entire army of nearly every conceivable form of Iron Man..

From flying weapons platforms:

======

To platoons of armored soldiers:

======

This Tony also devised a way for the Avengers (Captain America, Vision, Hawkeye and the Scarlet Witch) to utilize four super-powerful vehicles, able to combine into a skyscraper-sized Iron Man Mecha. This Mech was able to own Mangaverse Apocalypse:

Most of the above is lolz-worthy - but ask for big IM suits, and that's what you get. 😛

Tony lifts/throws a tank, like it's a child's play thing - he then physically rips through the tank, like a hot knife through butter:

======

Tony is able to establish a link with, and fully animate his armor from a remote location, via the Extremis:

Tony also talks about his 'Anti-Matter weapon' [last scan].

Good effort Galan, Iron man definitely deserves some respect. If he was to use all of his respective weaponry, in one mega suit he'd basically be un beatable.

Thanks man! 👆

Here's something I noticed..

Most of you are familiar with Thor owning Tony to the nth degree, in a fairly recent issue.. However, just before the ownage, Thor [whom was pissed off and not holding back] struck Tony 2 different times with Mjolnir.

Despite these blows, Tony [in standard armor] was relatively undamaged:

imo, the above scans show impressive armor durability - initially, at least. biscuits

Relatively undamaged? I'll give it to you after the first one but after the second one....Tony looks beaten to HE double toothpicks!

The second consecutive strike from Mjolnir left Tony more damaged, but he wasn't in too bad of shape overall. I say this because his 'auto-repair' program was already kicking in, attempting to fix said damage. This means Tony's system as a whole, couldn't have been majorly fcuked up from those blows, or else his armor wouldn't have had enough power to initiate that sequence..

Still good armor durability feats, imo
