So giants and Dragons have a natural resistance.. but Godzilla.. essentially a giant Dragon wouldn't?
How would crucio even work here... it took extended time for it to even effect normal humans.. why am I to believe it will take a shorter time to effect Godzilla?
You seem to have a lot of assumptions regarding Godzilla. Just because he looks like a dragon he's now a dragon as well? Does he fly? Is he magical in nature? No? Then he's not a dragon.
You seem to have a lot of assumptions based on HP...
You seem to believe Crucio would work.. when in fact it took EXTENDED period of time to work an a being vastly inferior in durability and strength.. SO tell me.. WHY and PROVE it will work on a creature that is nuclear based and has resisted magic super beasts before. Then prove it will work quicker on Godzilla than it took a human.. it's going to have to before Godzilla lays waste to HP verse.
Now I'd like you to prove that the dementors will do anything to Godzilla... Now it's suppose to suck all the happy memories from Godzilla.. and then what.. WTF is that going to do to him? This is even assuming he sensed emotions like that or they even register.
It seems very consistent in HP that LARGE creature have a natural resistance to Magic... If you can name multiple big creatures that don't have a resistance to it.. then please name them... If not, we'll go with what is generally shown i.e. everything big damn big had a natural resistance to magic not the other way around.
Crucio didn't take an "extended time" to work on an individual. The results were almost always instantaneous or at least within a few seconds. The agony was what was extended. Crucio wasn't meant to kill after all, and could be extended indefinitely.
Furthermore, I make no claims that a single wizard can put a spell on Godzilla. It may work or it may not. I'm not willing to bet on it. You seem to be under the assumption that the wizards will bel trying to deal with Godzilla one at a time.
But are you seriously telling me that Godzilla can simply shrug off the combined spells of hundreds or even thousands of wizards blasting him at the same time?
And that's just the wizards. We have no idea how many dragons are in the potterverse as well as other mystical creatures.

AND... please list the BIG being in HP that don't show resistance to Magic... It seems very clear that EVERY BIg thing in HP was said to have some magical resistance... If you have examples of big creatures that didn't.. show them.. if not, we'll go what was shown.. big creatures seem to have a magical resistance of varying degrees
Crucio being used against giant spider. There, you have your proof. Now what?
Besides, even if we were to assume that a dragon's thick hide is what prevents spells from working on it, it's eyes are still vulnerable. What's to stop wizards zooming in on broomsticks and blasting Godzilla in the eyes?

Thanosi had this idea that being big just naturally gives you resistance to magic. Big spider certainly didn't display any resistance. Yes, Godzilla is bigger than the spider, but the point was that size alone does not determine magical resistance.
As for his atomic breath... yeah that would work, if he can hit them.
I don't remember crucio being used against a giant spider, which movie was that from?

I don't know why some of you are going on about being right and winning. Rob and Impediment were in on this gag because I PMed them. Silent and Rao PMed me and figured I changed the post. I highly doubt anybody thought Quan made the post, but simply played along just for the lulz.
Wizards on brooms may not be as fast as jets, but they are more nimble. Able to change directions a lot faster than jets do. Able to duck, dodge and react a lot easier than jets do.
It would be like swatting flies. Sure Godzilla would get some, but I doubt he could get all of them.
Any average debater can turn a question in order to make it seem than the other has to prove the point and not themselves. These cheap tactics won't work on me.
You're the one claiming Crucio is unrelated to pain resistance despite being a pain dealing spell. How do you come up with such lack of a relationship? It's much more intuitive to assume pain resistance actually helps enduring pain.
By the way, thanks for conceeding the point of Goji being much more formidable than any Harry Potter character in resisting pain
He's tanked worse physical attacks. Problem is the HP spells are not all physical. Mind control, immobilization spells, even crucio, these are not physical attacks. And that's all that Godzilla has in feats: Proof that he can tank physical attacks.
now they are mind controlling Godzilla... umm okay.. based on WHAT?
Frost I'm still waiting on the Big Creatures in HP that don't have a resistance to Magic... if you can't think of any and all we've seen in the big creatures seem to have a natural resistance.. then we'll just have to go with that being true for Godzilla correct?
