Bane acctually couldn't prove himself as a swordmaster. He had no rivals on his era. I doubt that Zannah was nearly as good as Kenobi, just like I doubt that Kas'im, Raskta or Sarro were above Bulq, Fisto or Ventress.
I dunno. One could bring up Kenobi successfully defending against Sith Anakin in Sabers as well as the combined might of Maul+Opress to be =/> defending against and keeping up with Bane.
But Kenobi doesn't give those kind of performances consistently. I'll give you that.
Bane failed to react to water droplets while Kenobi deflected blaster bolts from entire armies of droids.
Bane isn't blitzing anyone, and he isn't powerful enough to break his defense.

Most of those characters aside from Vitiatem Bane, and Ragnos all have feats off nexus that can make for adequate comparisons

Actually Bane had a chance to prove himself. Him wearing orbalisk the entire time is the problem. Especially when it's stated he did't bother defending himself in those areas.
Well Sith Anakin was mentally unstable, which accounts for his suicide jump. But still in terms of power and skill, he must at least be on par with TCW Anakin.
Anakin also knows Obi-Wan's moves inside out. So that's a 2 way advantage/disadvantage. Which should also apply to Bane and Zannah actually.
another pile of dung... The novel even states kenobi was holding back during the entire first half of the duel until he came to understand what needed to be done. Kenobi was clearly distraught on having to be forced to kill what he considered to be a son n all the bad anakin had done. He even wanted to go fight palps n not anakin he was so upset about doing it. Anakin got over being emotionally upset n sad before the fight. This is made clear via dialogue n actions. If u feel guilty n upset do u then try n kill ur wife or father figure? No u wouldnt. The only emotion he was feeling was anger n the need for power. Powerful things for a sith not weakening ones. Plus we know anakin going ds actually raised in level to a 9 from a 8. Fact is kenobi dealt with anakin. . Maul... dooku... maul n savage. .. ventress.. n the general n wasn't blitzed. I like u neph but that is one of the dumbest things you've ever said
The rest of that hurt me too much to read, some of it was true, the rest of it gave me an ulcer. Well there's also the portion I couldn't decipher, but that's not really important. You probably want to do that over again, this time in English.

Kenobi was conflicted. But Anakin was conflicted as well.. "Don't make me destroy you.." is not the kind of thing Maul would say to Kenobi, or Sidious to Yoda.
That, and the fact that both Anakin and Kenobi knew each others moves inside out does make that duel a very different fight to something like Dooku vs Skywalker. I'm not lowballing or praising either opponent here, just pointing out it was different to your usual "Random Jedi meets Random Sith and they fight" scenario.
