Anyone know the name of the Galaxy "Star Wars" takes place in.
I just thought about this but what is the name for the fictitious galaxy that the story of "Star Wars" takes place in. And is it bigger or smaller than our own milky way galaxy?
Anyone know?

According to Wookiepedia its just referred to as 'The galaxy'. I know, breathtakingly original.

It's also far, far away. Ergo if we could see it today, we would see it as how we all know it because the galaxy existed a long time ago.

It has never been given an official name, just called the galaxy in universe, or the "Star wars galaxy" by fans.
