Kenobi's style is more focused on one-on-one, as well as being higher skilled, I feel. Fisto can make a fight of it, especially in force or all-out, but Kenobi is no-one to underestimate.
I'd say they are pretty even in skill, with Fisto possibly being even faster consider he was able to force Grievous on the defensive, whereas Kenobi's defenses were overloaded by Grievous according to the novel. However, Fisto speed is not sufficient to just overwhelm and defeat Obi Wan. It would be a very good fight, a lot closer than what most people would think.

In the HIGHER form of canon Kenobi wasn't overwhelmed. In fact, he disarmed two of The General's Arms right from the jump. That is NOT bering overwhelmed
"Grievous, snarling fury, ramped up the intensity and velocity of his attacks-sixteen per second, eighteen-until finally, at twenty strikes per second, he overloaded Obi-Wan's defense. So Obi-Wan used his defense to attack. A subtle shift in the angle of a single parry brought Obi-Wan's blade in contact not with the blade of the oncoming lightsaber, but with the handgrip. -slice-" -ROTS
Obi Wan took his defensive approach to defeat Grievious. But the novel implies that Grievous was faster, which doesn't contradict the movie. Obi Wan couldn't match Grievous speed with speed, but he was fast enough to block some blows and evade the others, until he found an opening to chop off Grievous's hands one after the other. Kit on the other hand, was using his aggressiveness and speed to overcome Grievous, forcing Grievous on the defensive.

Obi-Wan's concession that Fisto is the superior warrior in The Cestus Deception is proof enough that within the mythology, greater exposure and number of feats do not necessarily confer superiority.
Comparing feats, Obi-Wan, by dint of exponentially greater exposure, wins by a landslide. But in conjunction with their accolades and station, it's definitely a closer fight than what some would wish to concede.
Yeah, but none of Obi Wan's many feats suggest that he is greater than Fisto. There performances against the same opponent suggests that they are on par, and that Fisto may be able to replicate many of Kenobi's feats. If Fisto had absolutely no feats at all then I'd be inclined to give it to Kenobi, but Fisto does have feats, and the few feats he has suggests that he is on par with Kenobi. That along with the accolades, as you said.
Agreed.
