Yea, Cade. By the end of the series, Cade's an excellent duelist, and he definitely has much more force power.

I don't think its that easy. Zallow did give a good fight to Malgus.

Zallow is slightly suicidal, but it will be a good match, you're right - non lethal conclusion.

He was getting his ass handed to him pretty hard. Don't get me wrong he is pretty skilled but, in the end, he only dueled with Malgus for half a minute before being gutted.

He'd already beat Malgus as far as scoring a critical hit is concerned. He just had this suicidal-walk straight-into-my enemy space thing. Plus Malgus probably TK locked him.

Zallow got a few hits in. It definitely wasn't a stomp.

Zallow got one inconsequential hit in. By contrast Malgus got three fairly significant hits in, one of which was fatal.

Not saying it was a stomp but Zallow was totally outmatched by Malgus.

Malgus only got one physical hit in and it was as insignificant as Zallow's. Malgus forced Zallow back in the start, Zallow forced back Malgus in the end.

Not seeing the disparity.

The fights closer in the book and they're described as near equals.

Except, Malgus's kick sent Zallow flying backwards. He also sent Zallow threw concrete with a force push. But, of course, the big one is when he stabs Zallow.

And forcing people back is pretty meaningless it just typically means you are on the defensive, nothing more or less.

True, the book does change the duel. But I favor what happened in the trailer. If only because it is far cooler. Not sure which version is more canon however.

Again, the only significant blow Malgus dealt him was the fatal one. The kick did as little as Zallow's hit did. The Force push came thanks to Zallow being distracted by other Sith warriors.

The book should undoubtedly be of higher canonicity level.

Uh, no. Zallow was distracted by Malgus throwing his saber...

Why? The trailer is a cutscene within the game itself.

Which would be easier to dodge had Zallow not be distracted by the Sith.

We can look at release dates. What was released first, the trailer or the book?

erm Malgus doesn't throw his lightsaber until after Zallow kills the Sith. Perhaps, were the Sith not there Zallow may have doged it a differnt way. Regardless, Malgus still took down Zallow is a short fight. Seems pretty clear Zallow was quite outmatched.

The trailer was released first, the book second, and the cutscene third.

I know... but it would have been easy to dodge had he not been occupied with the Sith. Regardless, it was an insignificant hit. It did nothing in Malgus's favor.

Good. Book is newer, it enjoys superiority over the older trailer.
