I'm surprised that people actually believe some of this stuff.
Sure Vitiate needs extensive preparation to annihilate the galaxy, and less active preparation to annihilate a dark council without being in their direct presence or mind dominating incredibly powerful force users with astounding ease, but not to conjure practical applications of the force with immense power and effectiveness.

Sidious, particularly DE Sidious is stronger, faster, and tougher then the Dark Council in question. Besides, the Sidious vs. Vitiate 1v1 had a decided victory for Sidious.
The regularity Sidious gets doubleteamed by people is greatly underestimated, how do you think he maintains that milk white complexion on his face?
