To a normal droid he can, but not Grievous. Obi-Wan and Maul, who are superior to Qui, could not do so. Neither could Kit, a Qui-Gon level opponent at the least. Not sure how Jinn can do it.

Don't think Grievous vs Fisto + former Padawan + Troopers was really a proper fight. And Grievous did end up in pieces after that engagement, so don't think there's anything to defend him with there.
Also yes, Fisto's whole philosophy was to engage alone only when necessary.
I think how Grievous has faired against other Council level Masters is quite relevant personally.
But then he did get owned by the same Level 8 in ROTS.
I think Grievous was being trained by Dooku throughout TCW which accounts for his improving.
But also Grievous depends on much more than just Saber skill and Physicals. What were his 3 tools taught by Dooku again? Surprise, Fear and Intimidation? So that method of fighting can lead to inconsistent showings.

He can't TK disarm him before Grievous gets up close, no. And he might be able to jump away, but the best he can do is land a Push, given that is all his superiors (Maul, Kenobi) could do.

Grievous was injured and shouldn't have dueled Fisto, as per his medical droid. Fisto also had a massive form advantage. And the fog clearly helped Fisto.
Apart from that, Grievous held off both Fisto and Nahdar fine. Grievous>Fisto pretty obviously.

I'm citing him dodging the blasts of multiple masters in OCW off course. I doubt he could outright blitz him
But given how TPM kenobi was faster than Qui-Gon, I'd think someone who's speed has regularly fcke dup TCW Kenobi and nearly overwhelemed ROTS Kenobi's defenses(Kenobi having his own monstrous speed showing regarding the utapan army right before), that Grevious is far, far faster than Qui-Gon isn't in doubt.
