^This however, does. Because it's the actual link, just presented in an abridged state. The three dots represent a part of the link that is there but unseen.

Yeah the forum does surprisingly still give you the tools even in Raz's suicide. I only use it by accident, but it seems handy.

Here's some words of advice though:

Copy your entire post before you hit preview
Your preview will show you what works and what doesn't, you can continue hitting it after making changes
Some links simply will not work as pictures, in that case, you would have to try another site, or save the picture and upload it to imgur or something
And always copy the full link of the picture. If that doesn't work, try viewing the picture purely by itself and copy that link

You'll get it, but the preview should fast track it without everyone seeing you testing it out
