Did Sidious fear Luke?
Considering we now know that Snoke was just a deformed clone of Sidious, who mostly acted as his voice and puppet, is it reasonable to assume that Sidious himself feared Luke's power and often used Snoke as a means of conveying that?
Obviously speaking more to the ST era.

Yes.
Sidious feared Luke's potential as far back as ESB- "He could destroy us".
By the ST era (when Luke had started living up to that potential), Snoke directly told Kylo that he had come to fear and respect Luke. And since Sidious basically controlled every interaction that Snoke ever had with Kylo, it's safe to say those were still Sidious's thoughts about Luke.
By hype, canon Luke was EXTREMELY powerful (before he threw a fit and renounced the Force obviously). Hope we get to see him do more.
