You mean because it is the "end" of the Saga?
Then no.
Everything has an end, deal with it.

If Jar Jar accidentally kills Mace Windu in a slapstick manner, I will be.

In fact if Jar Jar is even opens his mouth, I will be.

It's gonna be an emotional moment when the end credits roll but I will not cry. It is after all just a movie, granted one of the greatest movies of all time but still a movie. Once the DVD comes out the Saga and my movie collection will be complete.

It is gonna be an emotional ride. Characters we've been bonding with the last 9 years will be dying in rapid succession. We'll see Anakin betray himself and everyone else. We'll see Luke and Leia's mom die. And on top of it all, its the end of an era, and whether or not Moridini wants to be a cold macho muther f***er, thats still emotional and sad too. Of course we know everything ends, but its okay to get emotional about it. Its truly the end of a journey, for us, the characters in the story, the crew who makes it. Its huge. Theres a lot to be emotional about. I'm definetly ready to, I don't know if I will, but I won't be shocked if I do.

If I'll cry, it will be when Palpatine is self-proclaimed emperor. The Galactic Empire begins...

If I cry it will be because some 400lb. bubba stepped on my foot while trying to get back to his seat with his 2 hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, m&m's and a diet coke... =p

Why are people saying "it's the end of an era"?

I know that for many people, myslef included, that when the end credits for Return Of The Jedi rolled, it was only just the beginning.

I'll most likely get teary-eyed, and then try to hide it for the remainder of the film.

I do this often, which makes me wonder if I'm too overly sensitive for a guy... embarrasment stick out tongue

This film will in no way get me teary eyed. Its friggin Star Wars. LOTR now that made me teary eyed. I will only cry if this movie is so bad, and we're talkin bad, that I honestly never feel like watchin any Star Wars movie ever again. JP's bringin Kleenex laughing out loud It's not gonna be like watchin The Green Mile.

LOTR made you cry? And Green Mile?

Superfly--It's not and end of an era in the sense that Star Wars is over, I know they'll try to stretch out what they can in TV, books, comics, whatever, but the official story is over. No more movies. And that's sad. Unless you hated the prequels, then its happy. But I liked them so I'm sad. I'll also be saddened to see all these characters died that I've connected to for whatever reasons.

Star Wars will be with us.Always...everytime we push the play button and watch any episode, we`ll realize that Star Wars will never be over

Just remember that...and yes, I will cry, I cried in episode 1...hearing how Ani`s song is covered by Vader`s breathing...

Hell yeah LOTR made me cry, and don't think I'm a pussy for admitting it. The emotion was so strong in those films between Frodo and Sam. Plus you add that with an awsome score equals Niagra falls.
