It's something to see when you look at the OT and notice Harrison Ford's appearance in the films. He's aged so much! Look at ANH. He looks maybe 30. Then in ESB, he looks maybe 40. Then in ROTJ he looks about 45-50. His voice got deeper as each movie was released. Also, some people think he didn't like ROTJ, that his performance wasn't too inspiring, like his heart wasn't in the role anymore. I KINDA noticed that myself. In fact, i read somewhere that he suggested to Lucas that Han Solo die in ESB. Of course, Solo is released from the carbonite freeze in ROTJ.
comments?

The ageing thing is easy to explain: It was two years after ANH that ESB was released, and about 4-5 years after ESB for RotJ to be released.
Harrison Ford was continously suggesting to Lucas and the Directors, Writers, etc. that Han Solo should sacrifice himself for Luke and Leia, and the others. He tried it during ESB, and again in RotJ-and was notoriously vetoed in both movies.
but do u guys know the time frame in the trilogy?like how many years is it supposed to be between each movie. like how many years after ANH does ESB come. and im not talking about reality but in the movies!
AN dhave someone noticed that DARK VADER has changed from the first movie to the sekond listen to his voice he sound much younger in ANH than in the other movies.
yes he sounds young(ger) in the first movie and older in the other two movies. or at least how could i describe it happier then. if ya havent noticed then see the movies and listen to him u will notice. and i dont think they would change his vouce from the VHS box to the (new) DVD box.

Yeah I agree with you Smodden. As for the original post of this thread,I kinda agree and disagree. He doesnt change that much as far as looks go In Empire than he does in A New Hope,he pretty much looks the same, but yeah, In Jedi he aged for sure.
He may look older, but so what man. He's Harrison f***ing Ford. He played Han Solo and Indiana Jones, he's a bad ass man. I dont' care how old he looks, I'll still go to Indiana Jones 4 (even though it will most likely suck) because it's Harrison Ford

Yeah, they did the same thing to him that they did to Gimli in LOTR, They turned him from the serious, standoffish character into comic relief. I hate it when they do that to my favorite character! By favorite I mean Han Solo, not Gimli. Anyway...
I agree that ANH was his best performance because I think that it's the only time he portrayed the type of person he was meant to be. He was supposed to be the smuggler, the jerk, the cocky guy, and the guy who just annoyed everyone. In ESB he was the caring, loveable smuggler who didn't make fun of anyone really, and in ROTJ he was the goofy, not-serious-at-all smuggler who really got on my nerves.
