The trio, even Mace can't block 8 blades at once.

I fail to see how they can all swing at the same target at once. That's horrible logic. Maul can't swing both blades anyways; it's one side of his staff or the other.

Mace wouldn't have to do anything.

The trio owns itself

Pretty much. All their attacks would be botched by their compatriots trying to get their own swings in, and would get in each other's ways, and Windu would take advantage and get his strikes in.

One on each side, one in the front. So what's Mace gonna do, you guys, block all 4 of Grievous's blades, somehow block Maul's blade and both of Asajj's blades at the same time? And when they swing again? He manages to block all of them a second time? Right... roll eyes (sarcastic)

And how would they get in that possition? Do you think Mace is just going to stand there and wait for them to surround him then count to three and attack?

even if they came at him one at a time Mace would eventually get hit. He pretty much told Obi Wan in the ROTS novelization that his style wouldn't work vs Greivous. That's why they sent Mr. Defense Soresu Kenobi to do that job. They could have picked mace, but didn't. Then again, clone wars shows that he could hold his own. I give up too many contradictions...

This isn't competition for Mace.

WTF? Mace would be able to destroy Grievous with the force alone. Assaj and Maul would not be able to work well together at all, and Mace would just outduel both of them.

Okay, so Maul takes the front, while Mace is fending off against Maul Grievous and Asajj each get on one side and he gets pwnd.

Have you read LOE? Mace expresses some concern when fighting Grievous cause Grievous is using a form that is similar to Vaapad. And Mace doesn't pwn with the Force, it takes his blade and some skill to defeat Grievous.

No it doesn't lol. Obiwan defeated Grievous with little difficulty, so what makes you think Obiwan's superior will have any more difficulty?

Ok, Mace uses force grip on Grievous's heart and temporarily disables the droid.

Assaj and Maul come at him, they are both eventually taken down. Since Mace has Vaapad and Shatterpoint, he would have the advantage against two relatively inexperienced Sith.

Afterwards Mace finishes Grievous.

1) Um, sure. You think Mace would LET them? He's going to maneuver so that they won't be able to surround him; unless he's a moron, that's what he'll do. If anything, he'll attack first, as Palpatine did. Palpatine didn't want to be trying to take on four Jedi at once, so he killed three as quickly as possible.

2) From what I read, Mace wins and forces him to retreat. Then, you look at Obsession. He crushed him with ease. CW? Smashed his lungs. Pfft. Grievous is toastier than my Poptarts.

Mace shreds them. Assaj is very good, but she won't stand up to Mace, who could and did beat her superior's superior. Assaj also always struggled with Dooku. Maul is a good fighter, but his style will not mesh well with either of them. He depends on acrobatics and using a weapon that tends to be larger and more cumbersome than the other individuals. He'll ned his space, which means the other two don't have theirs.

Grievous moves around like an idiot and swings four blades. Big deal, he'll still get a force attack in the face.

Yes, it does. And FYI, Obi-Wan is a Soresu Master and therefor the best Jedi in the Order to fight Grievous.

Okay, so Mace attacks them and Maul runs out and attacks Mace. Once Maul and Mace are fighting Grievous and Asajj each get on one side.

In Obsession he made the ground beneath Grievous explode, and it took alot of concentration. Plus Grievous wasn't expecting it, he didn't even know Mace was attacking him. But LOE is the most official out of the three and Mace and Grievous fight on top of a hover train and Grievous doesn't do to bad but in the end he falls off the train and is saved by some Magnaguards.
