CIS vs. Republic REMATCH!
It is basically Dooku leading the CIS against the Republic. Also keep in mind that Sidious CANNOT manipulate the war. In fact the Dark Lords of the Sith will be changed to Dooku and Ventress. And also Palpatine is stripped of the force. He is still the Supreme Chancellor he is just no longer force sensitive. Now given all of this information who do you believe will come out the victor?
well.... remember in ROTS and clone wars cartoons they talked about how they had too little forces and there are refrences in LOE when the jedi are chasing grievous
But why did Sidious go through all the troubble to manipulate the Republic if he could overthrow it with his own forces? Why did he shut down this army of "trillions of droids"?

They're weren't THAT many droids,most of the factorys prouducing the droids had been shut down by then,they're were a few left on the CIS stronghold worlds.And every clone is worth 10 droids(they aren't single minded as droids,they're smarter and more capable of taking them down with other devices than just blasting like droids do), and every Jedi is worth atleast 20 or 30 droids,and don't forget,the Republic had all the NEW equipment,the CIS still had old equipment which was basically useless since the clones had upgraded armor and weapons aswell as cures for some of the bio weapons the CIS made.Not counting the ELITE units,which can take out an army or more droids with enough enginuity and equipment,and the Republic had more ships and supplies aswell.The CIS were getting supplies also,but by that time most of their supply worlds(including the suppliers) were captured and cut off.The Republic wins.
The object of Sidious' manipulation was that the Republic would not be pwnd by outside forces or actually obliteration by a war at all, but by corruption and wearing down and such.
If he was the leader of the Confederacy, the Empire would be repulsed immediately, anyways.

Droids can't win a war, you need specialists.
Jango Fett said something like that. It's not the exact quote, but it says it in the Republic Commando game. Also in Rise of Darth Vader, it says that anti-droid weaponry was being developed, and if they had that kind of weaponry, they could have won the war in a few weeks. A clone says it, I believe, and they aren't known for their sense of humor.
There is no such thing as 'quintillions',read NEC and the other New Essential books,it tells you everything you need to know.Thats where I got my info from.
