Well I think that while it may have been established that Ragnos was the most powerful force user ever up until the time of his funeral, it is not clear how much more powerful he was then Sadow and there is a possibility Sadow may have improved enough to become more powerful then Ragnos ever was.

I'd also like to point out that the very things that make some people believe that the ancient sith are so powerful were done by Sadow, more particularly his use of alchemy and his reckless actions such as blowing up stars which seemed to both be frowned upon by the ancient sith as a whole. 'swcomics.com' isn't working for me right now for some reason, so I cannot supply the direct quote that backs up what I just said, but if I remember correctly it was something like 'you're reckless actions and dangerous experiments will ruin the sith empire'.

It has already been debated, and the arguments that point to Ragnos being the most powerful of the ancient sith are quite sound. Now whether Ragnos is stronger than a sith like Palpatine is an ongoing debate.

Lol. You dont even understand the word 'proven'. The argument that Ragnos is the most powerful ancient sith is backed up by actual quotes from TOTJ, *that* is the only reason I would consider it a proven argument. Where is your proof that Ragnos is more powerful than Sidious? Oh right...all you can come up with is speculative bullshit that just barely makes sense.

Yes that is support for Ragnos being the strongest ancient sith, but how is this related in any way to Sidious?
