I would say Jak and daxter would win in a fight but, Rachet and Clank still have the better games.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
I've never played Jak 1&2 but I am playing Jak 3 at the moment. It doesn't give you that feel-good-feeling you get from playing R&C cus it's a way more serious game. The game engine is not as good, Ratchet's weapon's are way cooler, BUT, the missions in Jak 3 are awesome! Motoring through the wasteland in cool dune buggies...shooting down metalheads...using Jak's light and dark powers...and you've gotta love Jak's hoverboard! It get's a bit hard at times, but i always manage to pull through. Thus never having to stop playing. I love it!
Hmm, I dunno, Ratchet has many guns but lacks sense...
Jak knows what he's doing and has powers not weapons to do his work for him and I like him better than Ratchet, I say Jak!

Guys, im a complete freak, and i own both (yeah, i bet half of you don't even own both of them!), and here are the facts:
Jak: Jak is violent, a bad-ass, loves the sound of a splitter rifle being cocked, and has a funny, furry, perverted, and poser-esque sidekick (who is actually a precursor).
Ratchet: Ratchet is violent, funny, furry, loves guns that are WAAAAAY too big, but still fit in his pocket, and he is actually smart - he's a mechanic - and has a nerdy, robotic, and smart sidekick.
So it stacks up like this:
In hand to hand combat, Jak would totally kick Ratchet's ass.
In melee combat, Ratchet would drive his wrench through Jak's freakin' skull.
With guns, Ratchet would blow Jak up.
Yes, Jak is a bad-ass, and Daxter is awesome, but Ratchet is smarter, more comical, and more tactical. Ratchet and Clank 1, 2, and 3 were better games than Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, and Jak 3, and Ratchet can blow you up with a R.Y.N.O.
DID YOU KNOW?!?!?! - NAUGHTY DOG AND INSOMNIAC HELPED EACH OTHER, AND MADE IT SO THAT THEY WERE DIFFERENT. THERE IS ALSO A HUGE BILLBOARD IN JAK 2 THAT HAS AN AD FOR RATCHET 2, AND IN CLANKS APARTMENT IN RATCHET 2, THERE IS A PICTURE OF JAK AND DAXTER.
Yea, at the beginnning of RC2, when Ratchet's playing video games, if you wait a while he starts playing Jak and Daxter, Jak 2, and Sly Cooper. And the guns is right, but in melee combat, Jak would still win. A wrench is nothing on dark eco. Plus his light powers let Jak go invincible for a while. But then, everyone also forgets that Ratchet has 200 nanotech at the end of RC3, where Jak has like 20 green bubbles. RC win a fight from a distance on endurance, but close up Jak dominates. (I just don't see ratchet standing up to a big homing flurry of the claw punches from dark Jak)

Yea. Wrench still won't do mch in close range. If Jak gets there, I think he wins, if you give them the same amount of health. (Honestly, 200 nanotech is not fair)

Hells yes man MORE POWER TO YOU i have al ratchet and clank and deadlocked will soon be mine come fall and i have all jak games although i think ratchet would win I like jak and daxters story better i mean ratchet games will always pwn the story on jak and dax will always better it has more personality and I hate ****ing clank man he sucks i hate haveing to play as him man he suxors but dax HE"S COOL he has this personality thing man he's just awesome but even thought jak is this rough jagged bad ass mof ratchet would win because the weapons but jak will always be the better person but light jak would destroy ratchet time freeze? a shield thingy versus guns ? come on light jak would pwn him

Ratchet and Clank's pretty funny though. Captain Qwark is my absolute hero. "Now, one might say I won because of my amazing skill, dashing good looks, IRON HARD ABS... haha, But seriously, I couldn't have done it without two of my closest friends... These Massive Guns!"
And who could forget such classic vid-comic quotes like "It's barbecue time!" and "Check out my Awesome Wall Kick Move!" hahahahaha good times.
Oh, and Laurence... Sir, we were in the middle of jamming. Here, listen to this, I call it "Bass Odyssey"...
Both games are pretty funny, Jak's more badass. And he'd win in most fights that don't start a long way apart.

I played jak3 before and beat the game in normal mode, and in hero mode; so i know all about it. Jak can use his eco transformations to stop ratchet's attacks. Also, jak's weapons have good attacks. He can get lots of good advice from daxter.

Jak can use his eco transformations to stop different kinds of attacks ratchet will use. Jak's guns shoots out lots of good things, like the super nova, it shoots out a missile somewhere in the place where Jak and Daxter is. Then, the missile explodes and destroys everything, exept jak and daxter.
