Just a Bit of Nonsense Really...
So do I see
what it looks like
To watch you dancing
beyond my eyesight?
The way your hair
it’s shining deep
I still have left
some ice cream
And when you scream
And when I don’t
It’s no one’s fault
We don’t have rope
Your much too beautiful
I’m way too clumsy
I’ll trip on my words
and fall into your tummy
Laughing out loud
it’s an understatement
call nine-one-one
I’m on the pavement
Tripple your pleasure
double over with glee
Master, oh master
Now I have to pee
Wide open mouth
never shuts down
Spiting out side-splitng
upside-down frowns
Anything I say
can’t be taken serious
So I hope by now
you’re not too furious
When in the end
of this ridiculous rhyme
I hope your laughing
all the time

Yeah, I haven't done one in a while, so here's a recent one. It's not really based on anything 'real' but I'm sure it has some elements of my real life in there somewhere...
Lost Lovers
His girlfriend's left defending the castle
While he's out harboring disaster
There’s nothing worse than sweet surrender
than picking, choosing
dying loosing-
-her to her own tears
Lets give them three cheers
One for her heart that she threw on the road
Two for the money, and three for the show
Trapped in his hourglass
much like her own
She can’t figure out
why she’s all alone
So we take back insanity
She can't give 'em what they want
Lets drown in our own tears
so we can
forget these happy years
She knows she's better off this way
He wants to tell her anyway
that the castle, he left unfortified
is being ripped down, she's terrified
No mater the outcome
it's always the same
She's trapped in her own dreams
that's made her insane
Think of the last time you heard your heart scream
and remember the sound of the bells you made ring
These lovers found out, that it really is hard
to live for the other
when you died for another

Very nice. I rarely respond to other poets threads however seeing that you are a beginner I would extend a hand of friendy critiscm. You poems seem to surround around comedy. Including ones that may be tragic. It's good to see but do not rely always on rhyming schemes. All in all your poems are very nice and the end thought is very clear to see. Keep up the good work, and don't forget to stop by my poems...

Another word you spoke to me
Another gesture you didn’t mean for me
You left without telling me goodbye
So I gave you my apple, and you gave me a smile
You liked to dance and shout so loud
I was quiet and liked to throw raisins at the clouds
In a desperate act I chased you (for a kiss?)
I was convinced we were made for this
You ran around -a silly game
‘Till we all fell down
‘Till we all fell down
London Bridge was falling down...
I picked a 3-leaf clover for you
I even drew a picture of you
I stood on the top of the tallest slide
Gathered my courage and said with pride
“Melissa I love you!” with my loudest sound
And slid down triumphantly to the ground
I didn’t mean to make you cry,
When you ran so fast out the playground to hide
I saw you again at Sunday school the next day
And you gave me a hug and said we were friends
You told me that day that you thought I was cool
We were best friends for life, and the rest of Pre-School.
