PartyPoker Scanners
Hey, just wondering if anyone else played online poker at Party Poker? And if so, if they knew what a scanner was?
I was in a room the other night and heard this term being used and being referenced as cheating...
Just wondering if anyone had further information on it....

I play on PartyGammon and Hollywoodpoker but I have no idea what a scanner is. I assume it's when they log how you play and if you keep doing things out of the ordinary, then they can say you're cheating. Using some kind of bot or something. Just like they do in real casino's; they monitor your play.

Well, in talking to this other player, it seems that these scanners have a way of actually seeing your hole cards..and this isn't limited to just Party Poker, but since that is the site that I use, hence the reason I am asking....
I don't play for real money...a little to unwilling to part with it if you know what I mean.

I won $4 in a freeroll... Gambled with it, got it up to $100 then withdrew... Was pretty awesome really.. I'll probably deposit when I'm 18.
