I saw the golden compass yesterday ....in the movie a human's soul walks next to you as a daemon so this prompted me to ask you guys
what animal is your daemon?
and dont just say some cool animal you like base it upon what you actually percive of yourself
mine for example
I hate violence unless it is for sport
I can be extremely stubborn when i want something
and i protect those that i love
from this I deduce that my daemon would be a gorilla

You know, I really enjoyed that movie, I thought it was quite underrated. I am now in the middle of reading the books, I'm on the second book 'The Subtle Knife,' it is a very intriguing story. As far as my daemon, I would have to say it is my dog Ranger. He is a chihuahua mix (people say), since he is slightly bigger than most chihuahuas. You might think it's lame that a chihuahua is my daemon, but as far as the bond goes with that dog, he's seriously one of my best friends and family members. That dog will not run away if I take him on a walk without a leash, and he'll always follow me around the house everywhere I go, unless he's too sleepy. He barks at any odd noise and is right there by my side when I go to investigate said noise. So that would be my daemon, Walker Texas Ranger, my chihuahua.
