Build your own Avengers/Justice League
Simple, Earth in a hybrid of the DC/Marvel universe needs it's protectors. How would you assemble the team? All heroes are available but with a restrictions on how you build the team.
Those restrictions are.
The team must contain no more than 8 members with 5 active and the rest reserves.
Between those 8 members you get 2 heralds, 4 metas and 2 street levels to make up the team.
You can use the former KMC tier thread as a guide or your own opinion to determine what power level a character belongs to but be honest about it.
Keep in mind that earth could face a number of dangers so try to keep the team versatile to deal with any number of situations.

Well my team would be
Heralds
Nova Prime- Would function as the leader of the team. He's very powerful and the worldmind would be a tremendous asset to the team, providing information on many potential otherworldy threats.
Thor- Would be the powerhouse of the team. I wavered between him and Superman but choose Thor because the dimensional travel would be a great resource for the team to have.
Metas
Spider-Man- Spider-Man is very versatile, so he'd be useful on a variety of missions. He scientific background would be utilized greatly in a number of scenarios. Also his Spider-Senses would make it nearly impossible to catch the team off guard.
Invisible Woman- Very underrated. Her forcefields she can provide could save the team in many situations. And he ability to make people invisible will be a major asset anytime the team would need to use stealth.
Nico Minoru- The team needs someone familiar with Magic and she's use to working in a team.
Psylocke- The team could use a telepath on the team, also her fighting ability makes her a great asset to the team.
Street
Black Panther- A master strategist, an adept fighter and very intelligent. Along with Spider-Man he'd be the one to go to in the area of science although his strength would be physics and advanced technology. He also be one to send on stealth missions
Hawkeye- Longtime Avenger, has leadership experience is a skilled hand to hand combatant and with a number of weapons.
Heralds:
Silver Surfer (versatile heavyweight)
Wonder Woman (see above, plus that lasso, mmm can't do w/o it)
Metas:
Iron Man (versatile, powerful, intelligent)
Dr. Doom (strategist/tech, intelligent, plus every team needs a token prick)
Invisible Woman (highly underrated)
4th (torn between a magician or telepath)
Metas
Gamora (stealth/melee specialist/tracker)
Iron Man (tech/resources)
Emma Frost (telepath/hot chick to lower the sausage factor in the team)
Deadpool (comedy relief)
Street
Captain America (leader)
Batman (cuz he's Batman)
