They were found in his room which corroborates some of the stories from the victims (other evidence from the victims?). They should be able to nail that guy for CP, at the very least. The data just doesn't disappear...even if you delete it.
The boy's clothing is obviously suspicious but the rest of it is standard things to have in a house. Unless there was a charge that specifically involved a butchers knife I find it an hilarious thing to include.

A juvenal prank.
I dunno, if a boy comes to you and says, "this guy buttraped me, threatened me with a butcher knife, stripped me naked and kept my cltohes, forced me to drink alchohol, and made me look at CP. This all took place in his room."
I'd expect to find the following in the perps room: a knife, anal lube, a butcher knife, the boy's clothes, and CP on the computer.
That makes sense to me. It is certainly not hilarious. Unless you find threatening a child to have sex with you, using a knife, hilarious. I know that's not what you find hilarious.
Re: Re: Child abuse scandal in Orthodox Jewish community
I PM'd Robtard my comment on this because I don't think that what Robtard is saying, above, is what Zeal was implying.
However, I won't say because SC said I ruined it last time (basically) because I gave Zeal a way out (about the imigration and voting thread). So I will not ruin it and allow Zeal to answer this question, here.

to be fair though, there are valid criticisms that can be made of the ADL and it is sort of strange that the media does go nuts for Catholic abuses but this sort of thing isn't more well known. Similar things might be said of the treatment of ultra-orthodox Jewish women versus the exposure any possible Muslim discrimination against women receives.
Though, thats more likely about dominant media narratives rather than any pro-Jewish conspiracy, the day organized Jewish groups fight against evolution or bomb the world trade center, you would see similar things appear in the more liberal spheres. It certainly is a stretch to think progressives are less offended by abuses of children done by Jews than those by Christians.

There's probably also the fact that the Church has decades of known abuse under its belt which includes documented cases of the Church protecting known pedophiles and/or placing them in a scenario where they could(and have) harmed children again and again.
I agree. And while there are armed violent Jewish groups, their actions are mainly deplorable in Israel. Their branches here are mainly defunct and are in that same category as RASH, SHARP, FSU, and ARA where you typically don't feel too bad for their victims.

though it did suggest there was some systemic protecting of the Rabbis by the religious authority, it doesn't seem like the type of thing that goes any higher than local authorities.
I'm sure the fact that more people went to church as children and can identify more with the story causes a greater reaction as well.
exactly, Jews really don't come off as a group that Americans need to be afraid of.... since the 30s at least.....
