Battle of Genosis Revisited

The fight in the Geonosis Arena goes the way it did in AOTC but I'll replace the following:

Anakin is replaced by Ulic Qel-Droma (Sith Lord)
Obi-Wan is replaced by Darth Maul
Mace is replaced by Suprme Overlord Shimrra

The team also gets DE Luke.

They have to take on all the droids and Jango just like in the movie.
Do they do better or worse than the original group? Can they even win?

Shimrra can't easily be taken down by blasters, has a weapon with considerably longer range than a lightsaber, and moves it fast enough to trap Luke Skywalker. Yeah, he's more dangerous here than Mace. The other two are certainly improvements, but not by nearly as much.

The Vong survives to keep fighting, but I can't see him walking through several hundred thousand battle droids with a chance of winning. So no, not much changes.

Edit: Just saw Luke.

More droids get pwned, but again, the numbers here are vast.
