ISD vs. Droid Fleet
How many Recusant-Class Light Destroyers would it take to defeat a standard Imperial Star Destroyer in deep space combat?
I am having a debate with some fellow friends. I was wondering if anyone here can give their opinion?
These 6 Recusant destroyers have this to offer (combined as a fleet):
6 Prow heavy turbolaser cannons
24 Heavy turbolaser cannons
36 Heavy turbolaser turrets
30 Turbolaser cannons
180 Dual laser cannons
72 Dual light laser cannons
360 Point-defense laser cannons
As well as:
720 Vulture Droids
360 Droid-Tri Fighters
360 Trade Federation Droid Bombers
Depending on how this thread goes as far as replies I may be expanding the debate by either adding or subtracting certain ships.
May the over-flooding of opinions begin!

As powerful as the ISD is, it holds what, 72 fighters? Even with human innovation piloting those, I'd give this to the droids for sheer numbers.

human innovation and human error. Robots don't screw up is a message they never show in the star wars series.

Yeah, I hate how crap the robots are in Star Wars. When do we get to see the kind of Droid that Maul Fights with to train. At least those ones sounded good on paper.
