Occasionally when you read a comic, book, or play a game in SW- you'll catch a mention of a character who appears solely in that medium. What are some of the characters/beings you've only read/heard of once, and though you've searched for them in other books/EU sources-they've never even appeared as a mention? Did the character play an important role and then suddenly disappear, or where you interested in the character only for them to never resurface?

I find a lot of the characters at the start of the New Sith Wars to be interesting-but-mysterious. They started one of the biggest, longest wars in galactic history and we only know a little about them! Like Darth Ruin, who's one of the true biggies in Sith history in impact but we only know a slight bit about him.

Nah, we know his story. Kressh the Younger was sent to safety by his father during the Great Hyperspace War, after the war he gathered a force of pirates and an alliance of a dozen worlds, planning a revenge attack. In his pre-invasion party, he partied too hard, ruptured his stomach, and died.
