Anyways, I was wondering where there was a quote of Lucas saying it because during the somewhat mild backlash over his ROTJ Luke VS TPM Maul video, he said to people that he "guaranteed" people wouldn't be able to find a quote for it and I trust him on it. Yeah, that's perhaps the most well-known misquote / fabricated quote in Star Wars. Here's likely the quote where people took it and applied it to the EU, though:

Did Anakin really become Force-weaker or his cyborg condition decreased his fighting skills?
I mean Yoda is so dwarfy and still is powerful. Midi-chlorians have the same size. You can't say Vader lost them on Mustafar. And even these midi-chlorians would multiply even if their count lowers because they are microscopic life forms.
