It is a fake, but I guess it wouldn't have bothered me to much if it wasn't. Some alternations to the OT are fine, as long as there's not to many and it's not overdone. If there are any alternations I'd like to see made, it would be some visual enhancement, other then that I think it's fine that way it is.
exactly what i was thinking cornponious,why change something that dont need 2 be changed just leave it as it is ,and yeps i am glad 2 that i have the OT laserdisc on DVD

Uh Guys i hate to break your hearts but Hayden was added into ROTJ they posted it on the force.net and i think its cool honestly. it makes sence is you think about it.

At least putting Hayden in ties the movies together better...better than some old man whose cue ball head only appeared onscreen for a minute or so. By the end of the third film, Hayden will be the Anakin we know, not that old dude.
Technically, the old guy IS Vader, since Anakin ceases to exist as of the end of Ep 3. It makes sense that the Force ghost would appear as the younger Anakin, since the ghost seems to free you from mortal sins and trappings and whatnot.

I don't mind that they put Hayden in, to me it does tie the series in better. Maybe someone has mentioned this already, but what about Ewan, did they put him in as well?

SMX, it wouldn't make sense to put Ewan in the scene. Obi-Wan was the same good guy as an old man that he was when he was young. Anakin turned into Vader for so long that the Hayden version would be the last true Anakin, thus the one the ghost resembles.
At least thats the way it plays out in my own little SW universe. [sigh] I'm getting really tired of having my version of SW be so much better than Lucas'...I hope he can get his s#!t together for just 2 more hours of movie goodness. He can make "JarJar and the Ewok Adventure" for all I care, as long as Ep 3 rocks.
