i could imagine GL played a trick on us on the DVD, thers a feature on the DVD that says "Episode 3 Title", then when u click on it, its a pic of george givin us the finger and captions below sayin ' HaHa Losers, You Guys Suck!"
I think he wants to keep everyone in suspence and make them beg for the title because it is important I don't think he would put it on the dvd when he put other episode2 stuff on the tapes he did'nt tell the title so for now may force be with you.
I think Revenge of the Sith is very possible.
It's nice counter-title to Return of the Jedi.
I also agree with a previous post where they
speculated the word "betrayal" in the title.
that would make perfect sense.
-anakin betrays jedi order/obiwan/padme
-anakin believes they all betrayed him
-palps/republic accuses jedi of betrayal, and
in turn betray them.
so there's a whole lotta backstabbing goin' on
both "fall of the republic" or "rise/birth of the empire"
don't seem very appropriate, since neither happenings fully
take place in episode 3. They begin in episode2 when
palps takes power, and end in episode 4 when the senate
is finally disolved.
perhaps the word "shroud"? or another reference to the blindness
of the republic and jedi?
This is one of things that could very well be something that we put to much thought into it. I am only putting my vote on 'Revenge of the Sith' for 3 reasons. 1: it sounds simple, the rest of them have not been exactly brain surgery. That is probably why everyone hated the title Attack of the clones. 2: From what I gather this does seem to be what the movie is about and the titles have always set the tone for the films. 3: With it kind of mirroring the title ROTJ, Lucas does seem to be reaaly influnced of setting up themes, but taking them in different paths.
George Lucas in an interview he did smiled a little when they asked him if it was revenge of the sith or rise of the empire he smiled at both so I think he wants to keep everyone in suspence because it is the final film for now got to go fix my ship.
people r baffled as to why in the hell the film will be called 'Rise of the Jedi', maybe that title refers to Anakin as 'The Jedi', but Lucas will definately not use that 1, its gonna be 'Rise of an Empire'
