yes...well thats what i think anyway.
it is part of the force as a whole.
without the sith, there would still be a darkside.
as i explained in a post way back, evil exists without the sith.
there is murduring, betrayal, slavery, all evil stuff going on.
what the sith does is allow the darkside to take over and dominate all.
i think that it is the will of the good side to bring that balance back,
not destroy the darkside, but bring it back on the level

The evil stuff going on has nothing to do with Force.

As for Palpatine's virgin birth.....
Not gonna happen.

By the way, we've completely lost the point of this thread.

And I will not yield.

No, not really. I think I'm thinking of something a little different regarding Eastern philosophy. Getting into interesting discussions is the reason i come here.....

Although I must say, I'm starting to see how people might get mad at you.
You and your trolls, you know....

to rekindle the mother nature comparison....if one species becomes too prominent, it usually exhausts it's food supply, and then it's numbers dwindle....thus bringing nature back into balance....

perhaps the will of the force seeking balance is more benign like this...

That's a good point regarding balance. It fits with what I've thought- that maybe the jedi are too prevalent...

Oh, PVS, I didn't mean that to be insulting. I meant that I could see people taking it the wrong way. Some get offended easily, you know.

oh queeq, this thread was only revived through our philisophical debate, can we not have our fun? smile

guiro, i definately see your point now. i must accept that as a very believable counter theory to mine. i guess its one or the other:

1-the force has seperate, yet joined good and evil sides, force users choose a side.

2- the force is without concience, just a will to balance itself, much like nature. it is up to the user to use that one power for good or evil.

i guess thats that....for now
-----------------------------------------------------------------
and DC, cool...i thought you were getting pissed.
ok, we cool smile thanks for clarifying

and as far as the trolls go, those who take the things i say the wrong way should have a prozac and a smile and kiss my a$$. big grin

The two ideas of the Force are the fault of Lucas and his internal conflicts.
That's why its probably some of each, somehow.....

And PVS, I'm glad we're cool. I think you were the first person to really respond to one of my posts. cool

Palpatine may have dreamed up this plan in his youth, but put into action when he became the teacher.

Still off topic. Go and get your fun in the philosophy forum.

Closing.
