Anakin looks evil, pretty cool. The Vader artwork leaves a lot to be desired. It looks like concept art. It sort of looks like a cross between the Vader mask and a stormtrooper to me.
I didn't really like it at first, but it quickly grew on me. I dont mind it at all anymore. It is good. The cape thing doesn't bother me though. Sure it doesn't look like Vader, in the sense we know him. It is just a shadowy image. It is meant to look like that. I love the cape. But the theatrical poster better be the best of the three. I think it will be. I still think the teaser poster for TPM is by far the coolest. But this one in time, will grow on all of the people who hate it. Much like the last movie title "Attack of the Clones". Hated it with a passion at first. But it grew on me.

I think that the poster is frickin awesome. Just a glimpse of ANakin, a shadowy vader, a red saber(though pre suit it won't be used), the scar, the hair.....its tight! Not as good as Ep I, but certainly better than Ep II's poster though i like that one as well.

Love it or hate it?
Well hate is a bit weak to be honest! This poster brings me out in a cold sweat just thinking about it. Yeah the concept isn't a bad one, but it's been handled graphically all wrong. I can't wait till another poster comes out so I can pretend this has all been a terrible nightmare. The EP1 poster still is my fav purely for the execuction of an already terrific concept. They are always going to show Anakin with a red saber as I assume they think your average film fan is as thick as a box of bricks. Got to make them realise who the bad guy is after all...... The fact he turns into Vader might be confusing for the poor souls..
