Mm, and you should've been here when we were discussing it, you were registered by then. And starting a thread doesn't give you rights to make people shut up if they don't agree with you, instead, when you start a thead, expect that laughing out loud

why is that so hard to grasp? NOBODY is saying 'you are wrong'. we are just saying, its not 100% definite. thats all. nothing more.

This discussion should continue in a steel cage in front of hundreds of spectators. I guess it's just fun for people to argue online. It was actually kind of fun the other night for me. I had a bunch of fruit and let the stuff fly. Still...
...internet is like real life for a lot of people so this sh*t becomes sacred.

Returning to the topic, though:
Backtrack people. I posted the clip of James Earl Jones saying, with that big-ass baritone voice of his, he was asked by George Lucas himself to return. It's a sound-byte. How much more confirmation is neccessary? People were going nuts about Tarkin until it got posted on the official site that he's a character. Everybody knew it would happen though. The fact that Jones is going to be in this is taken for granted by everybody. Who wouldn't think he's coming back? Not one "doll" out there should.

I know this is an old thread, but just thought I'd clarify, James Earl Jones is doing the voice. The voice you hear in the teaser trailer is not from the Vader scene, even though it plays over the Vader scene. It's from another scene where Anakin turns and becomes a Sith. Remeber, Anakin becomes Darth Vader before donning the suit.

http://www.starwars.com/collecting/...ws20050121.html

I saw Dave Prowse at a memorabillia fayre in Glasgow a few weeks ago and the guy is in REALLY bad shape. There's no way he could have played Vader again. Even if he was just sitting down.

It may not be James Earl Jones doing the voice, this is from a March,27,2005 article on Foxnews.com:

Christensen stopped short of demonstrating the classic "Vader" voice, saying it couldn't be done without the right equipment

Jones is not listed on the cast list on starwars.com even though they have added Matthew Wood as Grievous' voice

hey guys..i come here about for about 5 minutes 3 times a week so I would consider myself a "normal nerd." I think i speak on behalf of all the average ticket-buyers that we won't notice that it's not james earl jones' voice...if it sounds like the darth vader that we know, we'll be like "haha! awesome!"...so to me, i dont really care who does the voice, as long as it sounds very similar...sorry, i dont say much, i just wanted to put my two cents in

yea its funny that it doesnt even list Vader, huh?.....so it would stand to reason that if they dont even mention Vader that they wounldnt mention JEJ.
