People, there is no reasoning with Macgeek. He is a young generation fanboy, who loves to argue. All people his age and down like the new movies better than the old. He'll never understand what makes them actually better, despite how good episode 3 will be. I think it will be a very good movie. But the difference is is that the classics are well, classics and are great. And for those that find the OT boring, that just shows a lack in movie taste all together.
Thank you. And wow, I just read his last comments. He thinks Han Solo is a bad character. That alone shows what taste you have...that along with you finding Obi Wan landing on Kamino to be the best of the series, along with actually liking the corny soap opera love scenes....yeesh, and you call yourself a fan?
Of Cape Fear? Yeah, in fact Martin Scorses made it and it has Robert De Niro in it. The old one is a classic, and I liked the new one, but not near as much as the old.
Han solo is a fine character, but theres no depth behind him, because he's not in the PT. Like I said, Seeing luke and leia hugging at the end of ROTJ is so much deeper, than seeing Han Solo hugging Lando. Seeing Luke look at the Force Spirits or setting darth vader on fire. Those things are incredible. Anything that came from the PT in a tragic way. Han Solo just doesn't have anything. He's cool, but he's empty, when it comes to emotion, and remembering the past.

Yeah you should definately. Good idea Dodo, I think I'm done here too. Macgeek to you I say, that hugging is not an emotion. Han Solo is what's called good comic relief, and just a damn fine well written character. The point is, is that he's supposed to only care about himself, thus it is a major thing when he comes back in ANH and helps save Luke from the hands of Darth Vader. You don't really know what your talking about, and your taste in Star Wars and pretty much everything isn't worth debating, because it is basically opposite of mine...Later.
Then you are a fool. I am sorely dissapointed that the only thing that the new PT has done, is isolate the majority of fans from the new generation of 3-second-attention-span fanboys.
Why do kids these days think that the OT is boring? WTF? Whats with the short-attention spans and absolute disregard for a good story?
Hunchy and you guys, I feel your pain. These kids are idiots.
Anyone that thinks the OT is anything less than classic, is a simpleton.
Frikking clown shoes.
