Star Wars Oscar Poll: Best Picture

It's tough because I love 'em all. But if I were stranded on a deserted island with only a dvd viewer and a solar power converter, and I could onl pick one movie, I'd pick Ep. IV.

I'm a fan of the whole saga, and they all contribute something. If I made a list, it would go like this:

1. The Empire Strikes Back
2. Revenge Of The Sith
3. Return Of The Jedi
4. A New Hope
5. Attack Of The Clones
6. The Phantom Menace

3 and 4 are practically a tie.

Well I'll be extremely honest with you guys. In my opinion, there's nothing to hot about the first half of ESB. I seriously end up skipping through most of it because it bores the hell out of me. The second half however, is truely cinema gold.

To me, ROTS was entertaining from start to finish, so hands down, Episode 3 gets my vote without any hesitation.

I agree with SMX, the first half of ESB isn't so great, I skip to the Emporer's message/yoda and luke in the hut evey time I watch it now.

(From there on, it's still the best, though!)

I feel the same about ROTJ, I only enjoy it from when Luke talks to Leah, and leaves to confront Vader.
