Because there was a 2 second shot in the CW series when Anakin comes back from fighting & Padme sees his scar for the first time .. pans out to the coruscant skyline & we see the lights from her apartment go out.. THATS the conception of Luke & Leia.. in comic form.. kinda creepy in a way actually

Blib is right, I was about to say the same thing. It is in chapter 22 of Clone Wars, Anakin has come back from the war, and when Padme removes his hood, you see the scar, then all of a sudden it cuts away to their apartment, and you see the light go off. It is pretty much impled that Anakin and Padme get it on.
