Quite a few people remember it- with great negativity.

I haven't read that book, but I haven't heard anything positive towards it.

It had a lot of bad points, but it made sense out of a lot of things(even things that hadn't happened yet, which is almost everything in SW) like Luke being as powerful as he was in ROTJ.

I'm glad I read the book one way of the other though.

I loved it as a kid, I guess you had to have experienced Star Wars as it happend to enjoy it and been the right age erm Most of those who don't like it I would guess, were just being born or starting school. It's the cool thing about Star Wars it transcends age. I remember cueing with my Dad, Mum and Brother in Leicester Square on a Saturday, to watch it about two weeks after it came out in the UK. Getting my Official Star Wars Plans which I still have (they are worth loads now) and buying UK Star Wars weekly by Marvel. 77 - 78 posters Darth Vader and Chewie from Star Wars Poster Mags I still have these in near mint laughing out loud and Debbie Harry. Nostalgic Whirly. I hope when my kid is born he/she will be like you guys a late arrival a Star Wars fan.

I have yet to read it, but I might consider it, just for the hell of it. I've never heard anything good about it, though.

Saw it lying in the book store one day, looked pretty good but it was horribly expensive.
