Maybe.....

Actually, I would if thet would include all the deleted scenes.

I mean the "deleted" deleted scenes.

I know there are things about the saga that they're not showing me...

I'd buy it. I just moved my whole movie collection to a new cupboard. I have three VHS sets of the saga... Well, one is incomplete, plus I have the VHS of TPM and AOTC... plus all the DVD's.... So yeah, I'd probably buy it. GL is gonna change something about these films, so there'll allways be something new.

Yeah.... they are putting brand new 3-d projectors in a few theatres.

It's a new kind of 3-d, not like with the glasses. wink

They will release one every year starting in '07 with A New Hope, to celebrate it's 30th anniversary. Happy Dance

It will be.

I know he's a liar, but Rick McCallum said at the dvd press event in Nov. that they had converted about 10 min. of A New Hope footage into 3-d.

It is official though, Lucas said so in the statement about a new cgi animation show about clone wars/live action tv show coming.

I also heard Sam Jackson say on Letterman that he heard they were going to come out in 3-d.

Hope it goes through. yes

It probably wouldn't.

Unless they develop new televisions that can reproduce the digital 3-d image.

I was reading about this on aint-it-cool.

James Cameron made a few of his docs. on the old 3-d, and Robert Rodriguez had those God-awful Spy Kids movies... but the new 3-d requires a new digital projector.

I guess some of the directors are all geeked out about it. They want the old King Kong and a bunch of other movies on 3-d, for a new experience of it, and also to introduce the new generation to "classic hollywood."

Par for the course, old GL is the first at it, rereleasing the SW saga, again.

At least this time it may be like an event...everybody linning up to see it in 3-d. yes

I would bloody well think so.

There are tons of European fans, especially in the UK.

Lucas is a sod if he doesn't re-release the 3-d release there. big grin

I didn't want to creat an entirely different thread.. but is anyone interested in posting and trading more of the hi res DVD screenshots? If so.. I have a few requests: Sidious smiling after saying "..and we shall have.. peace.", and Sidious blasting Mace "unlimited power"
