Actually, hes telling the truth, look at the color of lukes lightsaber in Empire, then look at Obi-wans blade close up.go to star wars kids.com, there is a picture of his blade close up.

I said a long time ago that Luke's saber in ESB is TOTALLY diffrent from his saber in ANH. Someone respond to my query as this is VERY cofusing(ANH-whitish green, ESB-lightblue).

Well some of the lightsabres have certainly looked just plain white, but I've never seen one looking purple.
Perhaps you're colour blind? Or perhaps we are.
Or perhaps everyone is colourblind and the sky is really green.
Who knows?
