nothing big, just someone on a site that said that Tarkin would be in EpII and had a role in the Clone Wars and that the Imperial fleet is already built, Palpatine made it so the Jedi didn't need to go to every dispute

As I think I mentioned before, there was a radio report in the UK that stated Robert Carlise had been approached for the role of a young Tarkin. Regardless of whether or not this is true, it does suggest that Tarkin is believed to feature in the prequels somewhere.

Maybe Tarkin is a colleague-general to OB1. That may be an interesting angle: two generals fighting side by side in the Clone Wars and then they turn to opposite sides.
