She cant die until she gives berth and spends a bit of time with that Pricess Lea out of the forst few star wars films, seeing as she vagualy remembers her mother, maybe they pretend she´s dead to protect her from a loopy Anakin.
I read somewhere (can't remember where) that Anakin "force-chokes" Padmé because he sees her as a traitor (she's with Obi-wan before Anakin and Obi fight, trying to take him to the good side again). Maybe it's just bullsh*t... It's not very likely to happen, it's stupid. It's almost as to say that the JEDI killed her.

You think so? It may be true. However, I'd be quite disappointed if Anakin killed Padmé. It would be... stupid, considering that he has loved her since he was a child.
Do you think that one of the reasons of Anakin's turning may be her death? Or he had already turned to the Dark Side when she passed away?
