Sometimes it DOES take a Rocket Scientist ! - Apprarently this is true.....
Scientists at NASA built a gun specifically to launch dead chickens at the windshields of airliners,_ military jets and the space shuttle,_all travelling at maximum velocity.__ The idea was to simulate the frequent incidents of collisions with airborne fowl to test the strength of the windshields.
British engineers heard about the gun and were eager to test it on the windshields of their new high speed trains._ Arrangements were made,_ and a gun was sent to the British engineers._ When the gun was fired,_ the engineers stood shocked as the chicken hurled out of the barrel, crashed into the shatterproof shield, smashed it to smithereens,_ blasted through the control console, snapped the engineers backrest in two and embedded itself in the back wall of the cabin, like an arrow shot from a bow.
The horrified Brits sent NASA the disastrous results of the experiment, along with the designs of the windshield and begged the US scientists for suggestions.
NASA responded with a one line memo:
"Thaw the Chicken".

Today enviromental organisations took politicians out on a boat safari. The purpose for this was to watch the coral reefs we have along the Norwegian coast. The used a mini sub with a camera attached, only problem was they didnt know how to opperate it. So after it was submerged it went out of control and of course the damn sub crashed into the reef and just demolished the lot.
The coral reef was 1000 years old crushed by those who fights to protect it. Go greenpeace.

Discovery Channel has this show called 'MythBusters' where this performed just this bit.
They actually launced chickens, frozen and thawed at high velocity towards plane windshields, there was no difference between the thawed chicken and the frozen one.
Totally ruins the joke eh?
