New Quasimoto LP in 2005

Got this newsletter in yesterday:

quote:
The DVD: Complete collection of Stones Throw's videos, including new ones from Madvillain, Koushik, Gary Wilson. This DVD also includes special features such as the Madvillain feature on Canada's MuchMusic with MF DOOM, Madlib, and Peanut Butter Wolf all shopping for records in Toronto, and Jaylib's live debut in London, partially filmed by J Rocc while he was DJing for them (don't miss the afterhours drum & piano jam with Mos Def & Madlib at the end of that clip). There is also a mini-documentary of the funk band LA Carnival, and tv clips of Charizma & Peanut Butter Wolf from back in 1992. This is the first time on DVD for majority of these videos & bonus features.

The CD: The "Stones Throw 101 Mix," 70-minutes, 43-tracks, mixed by Peanut Butter Wolf, covering Stones Throw Records from pre-1996 through new & previously unreleased tracks of 2004. This mix includes new tracks from Quasimoto, Medaphoar, and Percee P, plus unheard remixes of Madvillain & Jaylib.

LATE 2004: NEW QUASIMOTO
2005: QUASIMOTO LP, KOUSHIK LP, MEDAPHOAR LP, PERCEE P

You'll be hearing new joints from Lord Quas before the year is out. We hope to have a new single out by the end of the year - "Bus Ride"!!! - a sneak preview of the long-awaited follow-up to The Unseen. Also in 2005: New Medaphoar, Percee P, and a 12' EP & full-length from Koushik.

Can't wait!! big grin Happy Dance big grin Happy Dance big grin

Excellent! eek!

Personally I think The Unseen was Madlib's best work, the beats were amazing, better than Madvillainy IMO.

I agree 100% DB. Madvillainy's beats were beyond top notch, but the beats on The Unseen are just on another level. Not just for rap, but for any genre.

Don't sleep on the beats he made for the Lootpack album. Better than Madvillainy's as well, IMO.
