First OF All, Le me Say, i knwo there is a DooMł Thread, But i did not want to post it at the end of it for not to many people would read it and benifit from it

This is A VERY Simple tweak for the game so you can run it at elast 10x better, I went from low Deatail with no effects on whatsoever to High Detail with full effects with at least 20 fps and no lag at all.

Okay, Now Go in your Doom 3 Directory (Usually in cProgram Files\Doom 3\

And open your "base" folder. Find a document that is called DoomConfig.cfg and make a back of it to your desktop (jsut in case you totally screw this up, which is not lickly)

Now open up the given file (in the abse fold) using notepad.

Find a lines (they are right on top of each other) that say

seta image_useCache "0"
seta image_cacheMegs "20" (or 32)
seta image_cacheMinK "200"

And change thoes to

seta image_useCache "1"
seta image_cacheMegs "***" (Half of the RAM you have)
seta image_cacheMinK "25600"

Save and exit, yous hould be able to run the game A LOT better. Oh and if you havn't finished the game yet, scroll down and change

seta g_nightmare "0"

from 0 to 1 to unlcok Nightmare mode

And if you want to see a shadow for the guy you play change

seta g_showPlayerShadow "0"

From 0 to 1

AND VOLA! DooMł will now run smoother and most probly you can enjoy high graphics like I have!
