No friggin way! Oh man I was just reading an interview with Dimebag in Guitar World magazine last night, about how he came up with the riff in Cemetery Gates. I really don't believe this, TWO great heavy metal bands killed on the same day. I'd do anything to get my hands on the ****ing dickless piece of shit that did this, too bad the cops killed him.
That's terrible. Pantera was my favorite band for ten years and I've seen them four times.
I didn't hear anything about Vinnie Paul. I just heard (as of 7:00 this morning) it was just Dimebag Darrell.
What gives this a$$hole the right to take away someone like that forever? I am grateful for that police officer who shot him dead before he could do anything else. If anyone knows the officer's name, he should be considered a hero. What a tragedy.
There were reports from bystanders that while this goon was wading his way to the stage, he was shouting at Dimes about he being the one that broke up Pantera, etc, etc. Most metal fans know Phil left Pantera behind, just like he left Down, Viking Crown, and someday, (god forbid) Superjoint Ritual.
It's cliched, yeah, but the metal nation is feelin' it. I just shudder to think what Vinnie saw go down right infront of him.
ive seen pantera four times and they are a mad influince my band Nothing but Losers whats worse is the only channals not covering this right now are mtv and vh1 they fliped when odb has a balloon full of drugs blow up inside him or when some rapper gets shot but when someone from a band that helped build their station like dimebag or lane from alice n chaains die it barly gets a mention and now i was just watching the news and the ****ing reporter was like with a name like dimebag and it beeing a drug refernce that people like him should expect it when they run around in those circles

I'm so sad rigt now!! Pantera is one of my favorite bands of all time... Dimebag was amazing on stage. It was sad that the band broke up... and now this...
