Respect ZOM!

Ok, this is my first attempt at a "Respect" Thread for a pretty obscure character. He doesn't have many appearances but I just find him pretty awesome.

First, who is he? Well no on really knows for sure, just an extremely power demon "created to destroy". Some time in the distant past Dormammu got the "Chains of Living Bondage" on him but couldn't put him down. Eternity steps in and binds him further with a "Crown of Blindness" and imprisons him within a mystic amphora in a dimension beyond all space and time.

And with that we begin :

Ancient One leading Strange to the Amphora, they need to release Zom to deal with Umar, the sister of Dormammu. Notice how Strange refers to the Amphora as "the most fearsome mystic object of all".

Strange utterly in awe of his power. Stating that even bound with the "Chains of Living Bondage" he's still a menace. "Indescribably more dangerous than a DOZEN Umars".

Leading Zom to Umar, since Strange could not control him. She's awed by him and states his power dwarfs hers. Keep in mind, Umar is Dormammu's equal in raw power, he's just more versatile :

Umar flees his wrath, her spells melting into vapor against Zom. Keep in mind, this is him while he's still bound by the "Chains of Living Bondage", she states if he ever gets free no power in the universe can stop him, He snaps the chain but not the manacles :

The Ancient One before he got owned, gave his power to Strange, it doesn't help big grin

This ends part 1. All other appearances of Zom aren't really Zom but a sliver of Zom's power called a Zomling. You see, the Living Tribunal immolated him but Zom didn't die. A fraction of his power lives on in the Zomling. But if it absorbs enough mystic energy, it will reform a full Zom.

Part 2. Remember, this is a Zomling, merely a fraction of Zom's true power.

Well after he survived the Tribunal's wrath, broken, but alive. The Zomling was again imprisoned in the mystic amphora and kept in Strange's Sanctum.

Almost 40 years have passed and now Strange finds himself in a dire situation. An enraged Hulk has broken his hands and he's in need of power to defend himself from the Hulk and his Warbound allies. Keep in mind the Warbound were described as "as powerful as the Hulk before his exile from Earth". They were powerful enough to beat down the Avengers and other of Earth's heroes.

A broken Strange, invoking the power of the Zomling :

The only reason Strange went on to lose was because he started to reject and fight against the Zomling's influence! Stupid mage.

Part 3. After that fool Strange reject Zom and his power, the Zomling fled and started to wreck havoc by possessing Iron Man's Hulkbuster Armor. It was defeated when it tried to possess Amadeus Cho and imprisoned again in it's amphora.

Now remember again, this is a SLIVER of a SLIVER of Zom's power. Strange had rejected the Zomling but even then a tiny portion of the Zomling's power remained with Strange.

This is what a tiny portion of a tiny portion of Zom's true power is capable of :

Strange is shot in the chest multiple times and killed :

Like to point out that when he fought Hulk it was a small fraction of Zoms powers not the full thing, if it was even half that he probably would have just killed Hulk lol.
